Monekal Media LLC is a Colorado company making software for live music. Our two products, Monekal and Monekal Society, connect performers with the fans who come to see them.
Why Monekal exists
Live music runs on small rooms: a bar on a Tuesday, a brewery patio, an open mic. The people in those rooms love the show, but once the set ends there is no easy way for them to keep up with the artist, find the next date, or put money in their pocket without cash.
Monekal closes that gap. Performers post their gigs once in Monekal Society. Fans find those gigs in the Monekal app, scan the artist's QR code at the venue, follow them, and tip with Apple Pay or a card. The artist keeps the whole tip.
We are starting in the Denver area and growing city by city, because a live-music app is only as good as the shows it can show you tonight.
How we make decisions
Monekal takes nothing from a tip. When a fan pays to support a performer, the performer gets it.
The QR code on the mic stand is the product. Everything starts with a real show and a real crowd.

Jordan Formanek
Jordan Formanek founded Monekal Media to give working performers a better way to reach the people who come to their shows, and to get paid for it. Jordan designed and built both Monekal and Monekal Society.
Jordan is based in the Denver area, where Monekal is launching first.
